#7 F**K YEAH / F**K NO A4 Collaged Screen Print

Years ago I designed one of my favourite sayings “If it’s not a fuck yes, it’s a fuck no” and it got a lot of likes, saves etc (whatever that really counts for anyway anymore) so in 2021 I redesigned it and screen printed it for a group show in Gympie.

For the display I used the same bone colour for the print across multiple coloured card stocks. I sold a few copies at the show and the remainder were sent back to me. I had forgotten all about them until I found them in a stock box recently. Since the last print “Lucky Girl Syndrome” and the collaged versions I did of them, I thought the same style would suit this print. In design I’m usually thinking about “what stays the same” and “what changes”. I think this piece is effective because the colour of the print itself ties the coloured ripped up stocks together.

These prints are priced for their age and stock consideration. Due to their age and me ripping them up forcibly, some prints may have slight bends in the paper- I like to think of these are marks of uniqueness though, and that even though the sentiment of the print is the same across the series, they are each individual :)
