This print features hand-drawn illustrations inspired by the original tram tickets advertising Trittons, one of Brisbane’s most iconic furniture retailers of the 20th century. The tram tickets featured these funny little guys, so Forge has redrawn them as a flash sheet style print.

Founded by Frederick Tritton, the company became known for its high-quality, locally made furniture, innovative advertising, and commitment to Queensland-made goods. From their George Street showroom to suburban shopping centres, Trittons played a key role in shaping Brisbane’s retail and manufacturing landscape.

This artwork is a nostalgic nod to Brisbane’s local history and a celebration of design ephemera from a time when catching the tram meant a ticket to something special.
